It was the first time for me to go to the new year sale at LUMINE Shinjuku last year. :-)
It said 'Lucky bags on sale from 2nd Jan' on their posters.
I was so enthusiastic with the sale event, but nothing was on, only lucky bags.
New year's sale at LUMINE wasn't from 2nd Jan.
That was my mistake. I didn't particularly want lucky bags so went back some other day. :-(
I think Lumine's sale is quieter than other department stores' or shopping mall's as it starts later date. I always buy loungewear from Gelato Pique! There is no significant change in their designs every year, so I never pay full price for them! On the sale days, they knock around 30% off, it's worth buy.
I normally go for research at the end of year to prevent unnecessary spending. I buy things only if they are reduced after going round each branch. Still buying more stuff carelessly, though. Look forward to next year's. :-)
