The staff's attitude was very bad. I did touch up my lipstick but she had an attitude as if she couldn't be bothered, and purposely sighed to let me hear. I was so disgusted. My boyfriend who went with me also said 'It was unbelievable'. I bought the item because I particularly wanted it but I'll never go there..
Bought a long sleeved T-shirt and an off the shoulder top. All the shop assistants are young female who look like in there 20's. Basically they stay at the till and rarely go around the shop. Because the fitting rooms are on the right hand side of the till and we can ask for their advice if we want to, but they won't do anything if we don't make a move. I think they don't actively serve customers. The shop is either big or small, more or less same as other shops on the same floor. Because customers take items and then randomly return them to the shelves, they are often messy, therefore the shop looks cluttered. Their target age range is high teens and most customers are higher year group of primary school kids to junior high school students, I often see them coming with their mums. Although I thought that HONEYS was too young for me in my nearly 30's, the standard long sleeved T-shirt range has lace around the neckline and I believe this range is a hidden masterpiece that can be worn by any generations. Sometimes I go to this shop to buy these T-shirts. I saw the off the shoulder top with a sailor collar when I was looking around the shop without any intention after I bought the T-shirt I wanted. I did impulse buy as I wanted a top in marine style. However the design was too young for my age and it was a mistake. I learned that I'd better not to buy items other than the basic clothes at HONEYS.
I was going around several shops the other day as I really wanted to buy a pair of gaucho trousers. I was almost giving up because I was chubby and gaucho trousers made my body look expanding. Although I couldn't pick the right one, a shop assistant came to help me. I was originally looking for them in Khaki but she recommended Black when I told her that I was worried about my hip line. She also said that they would look trendy if worn with a top in Khaki or Brown that were currently popular. There were many different types of gaucho trousers and she politely explained each feature. She gave me a total coordination idea. By choosing the tight colours for gaucho trousers worn with a top in trendy colours or my preferred colours, it definitely looked well balanced. I could shop to my satisfaction as the staff was nice and kindly listened to my issues. Her advice was also precise. Although she seemed to be looking after other customers at the same time as there were around 4 other customers, it was nice that she served me smoothly by making an eye contact with other shop assistants.
I always pop in to this shop without planning when I go to Shinjuku as the shop is near the escalator just after coming out of the ticket gate. Because the shop has many gorgeous clothes, I was looking for a dress for wedding reception. However I eventually bought a jersey top and a dressing gown in jersey material. The staff nicely served me with keeping my boundaries and it was easier to try different clothes afterwards as she put it aside without mentioning anything and didn't say any flattery to the dress that didn't really suit me. Both were sale items but she politely served me and also gave me a catalogue for new arrivals.
Popped in as I was keen on MINNETONKA shoes. The staff was kind and I tried several pairs of shoes in various colours and size while she was giving me some advice to coordinate with clothes. Because the shop was very small and stretched side to side along the aisle, I couldn't take time as people were walking by just beside the shop, and it was completely visible when trying on. It might be difficult to take time to think by yourself because of the small space and it's inevitable to be one-to-one with the staff. However, I think that everything for your purchase should go smoothly including trying shoes on, if you know what you are buying beforehand.
This store is big among other GAP shops and I often buy here the items including kids clothes as the staff kindly helps finding items. There are many clothes in cute designs and we can try them on. It also has a kid's play area and it's easy to shop at its big space. They often have a sale and I think there are many items in their stock for being a mega store. Although the stores in Harajuku and Ginza are also classed as mega stores, my favourite is the Shinjuku store.
I often pop in as there are many babies, kids items, and it's easy to go with a pushchair for its wide aisles. Because the sections for babies and kids clothes are towards the back, it's comfortable to shop as I want to be left alone and I can take time. However, taking a pushchair to the ground floor might be a bit awkward. Bought a few kids long sleeved shirts for Autumn as it was getting colder. GAP is nice for bulk buy as the price is reasonable and they offer discount to mobile phone reward members.
Bought a Grey short sleeved dress. I liked it as I would be able to wear it loosely and it was comfortable. I'm pregnant and this dress seems that I would be able to wear when my bump gets bigger, and I bought it straight away after the staff recommended and trying on. I often go to this shop and check the new arrivals. It's easy to go as the shop is directly connected from station. Although I feel that the shop is small when it's crowded, I like this shop because there are many items. I found several bags I like and I'm currently thinking whether buying or not. Because there are cute shoes and hats, I always have an issue that I'm tempted to buy them. I now prefer chic style from the age of late 20's and this shop is ideal. It's my current favourite brand..
Purchased a Beige long coat with no collar. They had a sale and I bought it when I came back after I tried on once. The shop is big and it's immediately inside of the entrance on the ground floor (from the back door). It was helpful that there were in small size. Because the staff doesn't talk to customers much compared to other shops and it might not be suitable to people who want to ask for their advice, but it's recommended for anybody who wants to shop at their own pace. I didn't feel that it was crowded because it's a big shop. I thought that the staff was kind as they went to check to see their stock whether there was any new one available.
At INGNI AEON Kurashiki shop, there are many fashionable shop assistants whom I can learn from, as they are good at adapting small items into their style. I tried on coveralls before purchasing. Although I liked the length and colour on a pair, I didn't like the part around thighs that was a bit tight. When I told the staff, she soon brought some pairs similar that had more room around thighs. Because the similar items were placed next to each other, I didn't notice the type difference unless she told me. I like this shop because the staff sufficiently answer to our detailed questions and all the shop assistants know the items within the shop more than anything else.
It's a fairly new shop. When I went there for the first time, I was hesitant to enter as there weren't many customers due to daytime on a weekday. However, I went in and found that it was easy to look around as the items were very neatly placed. There was a shop assistant who seemed to be difficult to talk to but I was surprised at her attitude being very polite. She politely explained how to wear a long cardigan, as well as nice tweak, arranging variations and how to care. Although I didn't buy it at that time because I didn't have enough time, I was pleased that she remembered me when I went back a week later or so.
The shop is on the 4th floor within Tachikawa LUMINE and it's easy to find as being just beside the downwards escalator. I was looking for Summer knitwear and the staff kindly recommended an inner wear and trousers to wear with the knitwear. I feel that their thought is based on customer's point of view as they recommend items from discounted items, not only from new arrivals. It's very handy as you'll be given the membership discount vouchers if you signed up with the email newsletter. They also offer 50% off for bulk buy and this price is similarly low as the bargain items. There are, of course, reward point cards, and the items become better value for money if you shop upon the receipt of an email for additional reward points.
Purchased a pair of track suit style thin trousers (Black x Navy). The inside was massive and I couldn't help looking around as there were many trendy items at reasonable price. Although it's always difficult to find shop assistants due to the size of the shop, it's nice that the staff soon asks me 'Would you like to try them on?', when they see me wandering around the shop with items in my hand. The items are neatly placed and easy to find. I was thinking the size whether small or medium at this time and I decided to buy the small one as I found the medium size was too big after tried on. If there are more fitting rooms, I would be more pleased.
Bought an Autumn version of wide trousers and bottleneck knitwear. It was nice that the items were placed at the right height, not too high, and I could see the designs at a glance as the clothes on hangers were placed to show its front. I could try clothes on smoothly because the staff took me to another fitting room that was vacant on a different floor when I was waiting for a fitting room. The shop has many floors and it seems to make us feel tired to look around all of them. It's a few minutes' walk from the station and easy to find. Furthermore there is a UNIQLO shop next to it and it's convenient to be able to go around both.
Bought a Navy flared dress. I found it while I was looking for clothes for my husband who wanted to wear it at a commemorative party. I was taking a pushchair with me and it was difficult to move around unless it was a compact type pushchair as the aisles were very narrow. Because there were many items placed everywhere, it was hard to find items. I got a very good impression to the staff who cared about me with a kid and kept our pushchair to help me while shopping. I felt that the persuasion for joining the email membership was a bit too pushy, but it was good to be able to get discount straight away via the membership.
The inside was very big and I could comfortably go around as there was more than enough room for a pushchair. Because the staff stayed nearby, but not too close, I didn't need to look for them when I wanted to ask something. There was only one fitting room but it was very big and I could check the outfit from a distance. I bought a pair of Black gaucho trousers at that visit. Although they have to be dry-cleaned, it won't easily get dirty and I wear them a lot during the period of bringing up my kid! It was only a shame that the button at the waist wasn't properly sewn and it came loose after a few days.
There seem to be only female shop assistants who are in their 20's. They often have a limited hour sale and the announcing voice for that is very high pitch and annoying. The shop assistants who have thick make-up on their faces stand out and I feel that they don't match the brand's image that has strong impression of Miyazaki Aoi. The shop is quite small and there aren't many items, the display isn't particularly well thought. However the shop is right in front of the upwards escalator and very eye catching and I often happen to pop in. They had a sale that offered discount when buying 2 cardigans and the staff showed me various colours and designs such as U-neck and V-neck, and I picked from them. Because there were many colours that were out of stock, they had to place an order for me, but the staff's service was quick and polite. Although it was a shop that many shop assistants had thick make-up and they didn't appear to be trustworthy, their service was polite and sufficient.
I bought some practical underwear including Heattech. The male and female shop assistants are half and half. There wasn't mature staff and most looked like in their 20's to 30's. There are many shop assistant who know the shop layout and items very well, and they efficiently deal with my queries every time. Because the shop is always busy and the staff is moving around, I don't feel any inconvenience when I want to ask where items are, but it's difficult to ask for their help as they don't spend much time to each customer to give coordination advice. The shop is very big and often crowded. The inside display isn't tidy and a bit difficult to find items. Although I went to check Heattech items that was featured in ads, the display was not straightforward and even the bargain items were very difficult to find. The staff soon showed me around when asked. I could decide straight away as she explained about the size range and design variations precisely. The item display isn't perfectly done, but I don't have any issue as long as I can ask shop assistant as they have wide knowledge about items. However I feel that it isn't easy to shop overall as it's difficult to get shop assistants when the shop is crowded.
It's a shop that I always pop in whenever I go to Lalaport. The shop looks smaller than other shops. Because it was on a weekday, there was only one shop assistant there. The staff cared about both me and other customer and she often talked to us. I saw T-shirts online and wanted buy after actually saw it if available as I was keen on them, but both the colour and size I wanted were already being sold out. The staff suggested to order it but I didn't ask for it because I would go to Lalaport only once a month or less.
Went to buy a shirt for my husband to wear at work. Because I went there towards the end of Summer, Many short sleeved shirts were reduced and I could buy it at less than half price. There were shirts in nice designs, beautiful colours and patterns, and it was enjoyable by just looking at them. The ties were also reduced and you could buy almost everything for work apart from suits. There were also many ladies items and most could be worn regardless of the trend, because the fabric and shapes were nice, and the designs were orthodox for both casual and work clothes.
