I got pregnant with my second child, and I wanted to buy something new for the child at least one, so I started looking for rompers for the new born and visited the store. I also wanted to join the maternity membership, and I thought I should start that procedure first, and talked to the one of the store associates. As I finished filling in the form, I started looking around the store, the store associate approched me and gave me the brochure for preparing for giving birth, showed me of the baby clothing that size and color that they carry. She explained one by one polietly and I highly recommend this store for the new moms as well since you can prepare for giving birth without any worries.
This Miki house was very spacious so you could enjoy shopping without worrying too much about people shopping around you. You can use the toys that placed in fron of the store freely, and the store associates will look for your child so you can shop without any concerns. I try to buy something when they have novelty campaign event. Today I bought Riina-chan's t-shirts that would going to be perfect for the coming season, and the straw hat with a bow. Miki house is an expensitve store, but it is sterdily made so it would not get worn out easily even after washing them several times so I try to buy items that can be wore without worring about the size getting small in the future. I like their mascot character as well since they are cute.
I came to choose clothing for a friend's new born baby. Wishing that they could wear for winter in next year, I bought a pink coat that had Usako in size 90. The clothing were more expensive that I had expected, and I was even thinking about going to a different store, but the kind store associate told me that I could buy cheaper at Pocket Biscuit, and I could buy things under my 10000 yen budget. Their clothing was also more expensive than the grownups clothing, but since they manufacure every clothing domestic, my friend was very happy that she can use it for a long time compared to the other manufacturers. I think Mikihouse fans would be happy, but some people might not like Miki house clothings since they use simple colors.
I bought a second shoes and a hat for my one and half year-old daughter. Since she was my very first child, I was not sure what shoes would not prevent for her growth of the feet, but fit for her age, and the store associate measured my daughter's feet, and gave me a precise advice so I could buy most satisfying one. She looked like it was easy to walk around with them. They were having a campaigne for buying shoes, and since it was Saturday and the store associates looked busy with a lot of customers, but they dealt with me very nicely. I often go shopping here to buy something for my daughter, and there were a lot of store associates who helped me with a smile, and they looked like they knew how to handle kids, so that was helpful. They were crowded on the weekend, so if you want to talk to the store associates taking time, I would recommend you to go ther on weekdays.
I went to buy the baby's first plate for my friend's baby gift. The inside wasn't very big for being in department store, however there were many items including clothes, shoes and hats, also tableware, photo stands and many baby items. The staff looked like a housewife and kindly talked to my little one.
She, of course, politely answered my questions about items. Also she gave my kid a balloon-like novelty toy with MIKI HOUSE's characters and explained to the little one how to make sound that babies love. My kid was very interested in that toy.
When I was looking for first shoes for my daughter, I found that Miki house is good on the Internet. So I went to the shop. It was crowded because of Sunday, but a salesclerk came to me while I was looking at shoes. They brought a kids chair and a mat not to make any dirt on my daughter's feet, and checked my daughter's feet size. While they were checking her size, she was not in the mood. However they were so nice to take care of it. After that, they explained about shoes one by one, and I could buy the ones I liked. They had campaign for shoes. When I get shoes, I can get a pair of socks for free. I want to visit next time I buy shoes.
I went to buy a baby gift for my work colleague.
I bought a simple hoodie with a teddy bear motif for her, a matching hoodie for her older kid and a baby grow with a motif for the new born baby, all from DOUBLE B as she liked this brand.
I asked the staff if there was any modest matching items and she recommended several items.
The gift wrap was nice and the staff was helpful.
I was looking for a baby gift for my friend. When I wasn't sure about the size, a salesclerk explained to me very kindly. I chose clothes and items for a present, and she wrapped them very cute.
There were a lot of pretty characters in the shop, and I think that it would be fun for kids to go there.
Aisles might be a little narrow for customers with a buggy, but a salesclerk can take care of it very kindly.
I went to look for a baby gift for my friend who gave birth. I innocuously chose socks and rattle.
I wanted to ask for the staff's advice but no one came to talk to me. The quality was good, though.
It's on the same floor as other babies' and kids' brands shops and it has a kid's play area. My kid played there well without any problem while I was shopping.
I bought a Winter knit hat and windbreaker.
This shop has DOUBLE B, HOT BISCUITS as well as MIKI HOUSE so I like it as I can look at the wide variety of items.
It's not as busy as other MIKI HOUSE shops and has many items. A shop assistant recommended many hats and jackets, as well as measuring shoe size, the way she served me was very nice.
