I went to OLD NAVY opened recently in ESTA.
I looked forward to it as this was my favourite GAP's sister shop. I was so surprised at the price, very reasonable. I could buy a pretty dress for 1,400yen! I regretted that I didn't buy more for that reasonable price.
My husband bought a shirt in cool colour for Summer. It was 2,000yen. (:-D) There were kids' and babies' clothes towards the back of the shop and some bargains at their sale! The floral top was only 300yen, I put it in my shopping basket as soon as I saw it! It became my favourite shop.
I found a hole on the cardigan I bought at the sale and went to return it on the following day. I didn't get an apologies and the staff was unfriendly, I was disappointed. I'll never go there.
My boyfriend wanted to buy a pair of cargo trousers and we went to OLD NAVY in 2nd floor in DIVER CITY TOKYO.
It was very crowded due to Saturday. There were many overseas tourists who were carrying their trolley cases around in the shop, and I thought it was dangerous as some almost bumped into kids.
There were many items and it was worth looking. My boyfriend found the cargo trousers he wanted, but Japanese medium size were all sold out and there were just larger sizes left for being an American shop. The staff looked very busy serving customers at the tills. I want to go there on weekdays with less customers.
While I was wandering AEON, I saw a very crowded shop. I didn't even know the name of the shop. I decided to go in as I was interested in. It was a casual brand shop from America with clothes for everybody from babies to adults, for men's an ladies'. The price was very reasonable and it pleased me a lot! What's more, I got a 10% off voucher on the very same day, after signing up with membership. Some might say it's difficult to look around as there are too many items and people.
The shop assistants looked busy tidying clothes up but it was cat-and-mouse. Clothes got messed up as soon as the staff folded them back. Is that crowded. It's recommended to go there in the morning of weekdays, not on weekends!
I went to look at Green flannel shirts.
There was a skirt I liked and eventually I bought it instead. When I wanted to try it on, the staff was nice, cheerfully arranged it. The shop assistants were busy working and I could freely look around without being bothered.
It's in AEON mall that have many other shops as well as a lot of restaurants and coffee shops. It's handy that we can take time to look around with a break in between. There were many casual clothes in that shop and they were suitable for daily use as the price was reasonable. It had a wide variety of items from babies' to adult's and I enjoyed by just looking at kids' clothes as they were in nice vivid colours.
When I went to the checkout, there was a 20's male salesclerk looking back and didn't notice me at all. Finally he noticed me but didn't say anything and did the checkout bluntly. He didn't even say sorry for waiting or welcome. I was so upset so I told him a complain. He said that we say only thank-you at the end. That was rude. As he said, their education is that they say only thank-you. But the education is that they don't say welcome and we're sorry without any smiles and don't even notice a customer waiting. Customers should be upset with the attitude such as perfunctory apology! I will never go there.
I bought a inner top, trousers and boots at their new year sale.
I went there with my husband and we could enjoy shopping separately as there were many items for both men's and ladies'.
The inside was so crowded due to the sale period but I didn't feel any difficulties to look around and I could soon find the inner top I wanted. We could always buy fashionable items at reasonable price but I happened to buy a pair of boots as well for being even cheaper. The shop assistants were nice and politely served one customers at a time.
I bought adult trousers, socks, jumper, long T-shirt and dress and jacket for my kids.
They often have a sale and offer maximum of 70% off the retail price. It was 50% off for jackets that day.
Although we took 2 kids with us, the staff looked after them who were wandering around the shop, so me and my friend could take time to choose the clothes. It was very nice.
I liked jeans and went to OLD NAVY. I often buy there and their clothes match with my style so I went to buy a pair of jeans that time.
The sizing was different from Japanese sizes and I tried several pairs on as I wasn't sure which size I should buy. Then a shop assistant kindly helped and told me the size and shape that would suit me.
Also she brought some pairs to the fitting room so I didn't have to go back and forth between the shop and the fitting room. It was very helpful.
I bought a jersey top, cold protection items for my kid and a baby grow.
Although there weren't many items left for the size I wanted due to the sale period, I could buy them very cheap. It was a shame that the items on the shelves were all messed up and it was difficult to look at.
Even the shop assistants didn't seem to know what was where. I asked the staff to take the tags off at the till and I felt good as she served me with a smile despite they were busy.
