The shop is in front of the lift on the ground floor. There are only kids and ladies items, and kids items are for height 90cm upwards. It has several brands including GROVE and 3CAN4ON. I went to look for my top. Because it was during the sale period, the ladies items were sold at 30%-70% off and Many kids items were at half price. I wondered whether they were from last season, some kids Autumn items were being sold at half price. The staff didn't actively talk to us, but they politely helped with trying on the items. The items were kept tidy. I pass by this shop a few days a week and it basically seems to be empty. The age range of customers is wide such as between in their 20's and 60's. I didn't buy this time as there weren't what I liked.
The store associates were friendly and fun, which made me want to come back to the store.
There were a supermarket or a pharmacy store like Yaoko in the same shopping area, and the parking lot was located right next to, so I stopped by this store when I came for shopping. Inside the store, they were filled with family shoppers, and customers ranging 20s to 40s. I was looking at clothing, but a hat corner caught my eyes, and I tried couple them on in front of the mirror. I happened to find a hat I like unexpectedly so I asked about their stock to the store associates, and they happily checked one for me. Unfortunately they did not carry any extra stock, and only the one that was displayed were available, but since I liked it I decided to purchase. It was nice that the store associates dealt with me cheerfully with smiles.
It was about my shopping experience at one of the subsidiary brands of WORLD, SHOO-LA-RUE in AEON in Nagaoka City, Niigata.
That shop opened when Nagaoka AEON had a major refurbishment. I noticed and thought 'That's a new shop' when I went shopping in AEON several times before. Although I always walked away as the genre was not my type, there was a small item section at the entrance and I got hooked by their brand character because that cat was so cute. There were bags, towels, handkerchiefs, pouches and memo pads etc. all of them with the cat design and I wanted them all, I bought a towel on the day. It was the first time for me to go into that shop and I asked for a point card. The card seemed to be valid for all other shops in the WORLD group as well. The clothes were more like plain and daily use. There were also some suits due to the ceremony season.
I bought a Red backpack. It was half price at the sale, how about that!! I was thinking about a Brown day bag that was sold at 60% off the retail price, for a while. My desire of purchase normally disappears if staff talks to me. However, the staff in this shop wasn't too pushy and they just said to me 'Can I help you?' when I was wandering around. It was very nice that I could look at and compare items and shop at my own pace.
The shop is opposite the smoking area and toilet around the restaurants in AEON Town. The inside is big and it has a play area for kids so I think we can take time for shopping even with kids.
In the shop SHOO・LA・RUE on busy holiday, I was looking around and heard slightly "Move it, old lady". So I turned back. There was a salesclerk of the age 50's with blue eye shadow and perm hair. She said "please take your time" but the voice was exactly the same as I heard earlier. I was going slow to look around and looked at the salesclerk one more time. She said "Enjoy" but she was still saying something in her mouth. Also she had a crazy look in her eyes. That was really scary. This is not the right place to complain, but she ruined my fun shopping. She should be busted.
I window-shopped to check a pink kilt skirt when I was passing by the shop. A salesclerk said nicely "Welcome", but after that, she didn't come talk to me and had an attitude of offhandness. I wanted her to help me more with my fitting. The shop has wide aisles to go around for customers with kids and a buggy. It is on the 3rd floor and close to an elevator so it's easy to find the shop. Also it's located in corner so it has wide entrance (along with the aisle). I want to visit again because there are a lot of items I like.
I bought a cut-and-sew top and a cardigan for myself the other day. It was cold rainy day, but the shop is in the big shopping mall so it's very convenient to go inside from a parking lot by walking under roofs. The mall is pretty big so I might get lost in the building, but it's good that there are colored elevators to be found easily. SHOO・LA・RUE is located close to the center court on the 1st floor. I went there with my kid, but I could enjoy shopping because salesclerks are genial‐looking.
I bought a knitted dress in switched design in Black and Grey.
It should be warm in Winter time as it's knee length. It doesn't stick around legs as no static electricity caused, so I feel that was a good buy. We can casually look around because there is no shop assistant stuck with us saying something like 'It's cute, isn't it?' that is often heard in other shops.
The shop is big and there are small items like earrings and scarves, gloves for the current season. It's enjoyable to shop while I look around, getting hooked by many items.
I went to buy a jacket.
The shop assistant was very pretty and fashionable. My eyes got caught by the high neck knitwear and necklace she was wearing, I bought the knitwear and a skirt that suited it, without buying any jacket in the end. She modestly recommended some items saying 'Please think about them', not being too pushy.
I could take time to look around and buy what I liked. I'm going to buy a jacket next time.
