It's a COMME DES GARCONS's tenant shop. I always like this brand and happened to buy a T-shirt as I was attracted by the staff's fashionable appearance and her attitude casually getting on my conversation. There was a big insect model inside and based on White and Black in mode style. It was by the designer, Rei Kawakubo, indeed.
It originally opened in London and this Ginza shop was opened in 2012 as their second shop. It was a big topic since the shop opened. I pop in there whenever I go to Ginza and always buy something. It's in Ginza Komatsu West Building, right behind UNIQLO Ginza shop. There is a coffee shop on the top floor and we can have a rest there. The whole building looks like COMME DES GARCONS's.
Not like any other COMME DES GARCON shops, you can enjoy the items collaborated with other famous brands like LOUIS VUITTON, UNDERCOVER and NIKE as the shop's concept. Most items cannot be purchased anywhere else so we can feel something luxurious.
You should also pop in when you go to Ginza. Highly recommended.
