I went to the new year sale at Printemps Ginza. I was queuing up about 1 hour before the store opening. There was a queue line on footpath away from the store and nearly 500 people were there.
It was a very cold day but I wanted to buy nice items cheaper at the sale.
The store limited number of people going in but I could get in just after 10 minutes as the store opened earlier.
Although the store was crowded, everything went smoothly, thanks to the shop assistants' quick actions.
New year sale is highly recommended as you can purchase the items featured in magazines or popular gears at sale price.
I bought some coats and many other items I can wear/use this season. Most brands offer 50% - 70% off retail prices, so you should be able to find your favourite coats
